At 2.8 closed and 5.1 open, the Grasshopper approaches compact folder status, but still has a hole in the handle for a keychain or lanyard. The impressively sharp 2.3 blade is made of 12c27 stainless and features Spyderco s Trademark Round Hole, rather than an ordinary nail nick, for easy two-handed opening. A slip joint design keeps the blade open with resistant pressure at the knife s pivot area.
